What is Efficiency Plus?

Efficiency Plus is a cost effective spray foam insulation. It is used homes and buildings when customers require energy efficient, environmentally friendly, durable, and healthy insulation materials. It seals the building envelope and insulates in one application. It has R-Value of 3.5 per inch.

Efficiency Plus gives customers the opportunity to save money on utilities and make a positive environmental contribution through reduced energy use.

Efficiency Plus is not like “loose fill” insulation methods such as fiberglass or blown in insulation. Efficiency Plus is not affected by wind or convection as it is an air barrier, and fills the stud wall. This means that Efficiency Plus will achieve virtually the same R-Value in your building as it does in a lab. Loose fill products perform well in a lab, but their actual performance is greatly reduced by wind, cold or hot temperatures, convective air, and moisture.

Efficiency Plus complies with the Canadian Construction Materials Center (CCMC) guide for open cell polyurethane foam thermal insulation. Evaluation # 13249-R.
